1982’s TENEBRE is one of the genre’s most important entries, and really, one of the more interesting horror films ever made. The plot was inspired by a real-life interaction where a fan blamed Argento for the psychologically damaging effects of his films. It is a gorgeous (but brutal), classic piece of Italian cinema.
